Hello Friends: I am extending an invitation to you to attend our SPECIAL Bless the Children Home Orphanage BANQUET.

TIME: Friday, May 23rd 2008 at 6pm.

PLACE: Weaver’s Banquet Facilities at the Junction of Rte 272 and Rte 897 -PA.

Cost: Free. A donation will be received at the end of the Banquet to benefit the Bless the Children Home orphanage.

Attire: Non –formal. Menu: Buffet style.

During the Banquet information will be shared about our work in Guyana, South America.

CONTAINER FOR BLESS THE CHILDREN HOME ORPHANAGE.

Our orphanage building is set to be dedicated on Sept. 27th. 2008. Because of this there are some things we must get to be ready for dedication and to receive and care for the kids. Therefore, we plan to ship a CONTAINER with all the necessary things for the Orphanage to function. We are asking your help with financial and other donations to fill this container and ship it to Guyana.

Here are some details:

The CONTAINER will be  forty feet long.

Approximate cost for shipping will be $4000 Us.

Time for shipping of container June 7th.2008.

Container will be leaving from 111 E. Chestnut St. Ephrata, PA. 17522.

Picture above:A team of eighteen Men and Women of Action group of the Church of Godin the USA visited the orphanage in Guyana and worked with the local workers on the building.They also visited some churches and shared gifts with the kids. They have accomplished much from Feb. 22nd to March 2nd. Thank you team for a great Job.

This is an orphanage being built in Guyana, South America at  Lot 42 Industry, East Coast Demerara

The building for the Orphanage will be as follows:

Size: 64’ by 54’
Cost of project: $56,000.00 US
20 bedrooms
Kitchen, dining rooms, living room, and recreation room, bathrooms, storage rooms, parents’ room, etc.

Proposed started date: March 13, 2006
Proposed completion date: December 2008

The purposes of the Bless the Children Home are as follows:
To offer a home for children in need who have been abandoned, abused, and forsaken.
To help develop children intellectually, physically, and socially into responsible Christian men and women.
To provide a haven of love, compassion, discipline, and learning for children in need, regardless of race, color, or creed.
To provide a Christian alternative to children in need.

We accept children:
Whose parents or guardians cannot provide properly for the child’s needs.
For children in emergency crises in their homes. (Sickness of caregiver rendering them unable to care for the child, hospitalization of caregiver, and/or other reasons that would prevent the caregivers from providing for the child.)

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

 

THERE ARE MANY WAYS YOU CAN HELP THIS ORPHANAGE.

1. Pray- organise your Ladies group or church group to pray specifically for the needs of this orphanage.

2. Give a regular contribution on a Monthly basis so we will know how much funds we have to operate the Home.

3. Put an empty five gallon water bottle in your church ,workplace, home or wherever. Put the name -Bless the Children Home Orphanage Fund- on the outside and watch people give their coins to support this great work.Empty it and send the cash to the home.

4 Tell everyone about this great work. Refer them to our website for more information.

5.Copy pictures of the building and put them up on your church bulletin board or your workplace or anywhere people can see it. Put the address and Phone number so they can contact us.
